Abstract

One of the objective village tours with the Community-Based Tourism (CBT) approach has role importance in Lots of aspects, but Not yet all village tours obtain success. One of theessential factors expecting has contributed to the success of CBT Research is participation. This study aims to analyze participation contributing to the success of CBT by comparing four village tour education in the region. The sample in the study was part of the managers and community of the educational tourism villages of Katongan, Nglanggeran, Candirejo, and Tepus, totaling 77 samples. The analysis method used is Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) for identifying factors that determine success directly and also indirectly. The study findings that participation has a critical role of the success of CBT management in the Kab. Gunung Kidul. Moreover, ownership local, leadership and management, cooperation and support outside, excellence, and awards have influenced. Research finds there is a connection less than optimal on the source power humans in the area. Regeneration less than optimal management creates obstacles in innovation, lack of togetherness in responsibility, limitations in the ability of members to distribute source power, and distribution of benefits between members who have the ability in their field.
