Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mediating role of organizational commitment and the moderating role of spiritual intelligence in the effect of job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior. This study was conducted on employees of a medical device manufacturing company in Indonesia. In the study, information was collected from 254 employees out of a total of 302 employees using a questionnaire. The data collection method used a questionnaire. Respondents' answers were measured on a 5-point Likert scale. The type of research was explanatory. Validity and reliability tests were used in the research instrument test, PLS (Partial Least Square) statistical techniques and WarpPLS software were used in the data processing method. Inferential statistical analysis is used to test hypotheses and create workable models. Model estimation in PLS analysis is done in two (2) ways, namely with the measurement model (outer model) and structural model (Inner model). The results of this study indicate that the results of job satisfaction have a significant positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior and organizational commitment, and organizational commitment has a significant positive direct effect on organizational citizenship behavior. this study’s indirect effect test shows that organizational commitment mediates job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior, and spiritual quotient moderates by strengthening the effect of job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior. implications in this study is that the research framework model uses the spiritual quotient variable as a moderating variable, and the results show that spiritual quotient strengthens the relationship between job satisfaction variables and OCB This research was conducted in only one company, namely a medical device manufacturer in Indonesia.
